Re: Deseret Peak BMX Track
Man, the track looked great and was certainly well prepared! I didn't ride myself but I will be soon! Looked safe as well so that's a plus for me. I thought the race was run a little to fast for those who were riding 2 bikes. I still think Tooele should bump their signup time 1 hour later to take th...

Re: tube recommendations for the lil guys
I think there's not much hope for that on the kids race bike. Adding slime or whatever to the tubes increases the rotating weight that he/she has to haul around the track. Defeating the purpose of the lightweight bike with all the titanium parts and such as that. Best bet IMHO is do like I did all t...

Re: Great Northwest Nationals - Report/Results.
Everybody did good!!! Robby came back to 4th on Saturday after pulling out of his clips again on the first straight. Blew by a bunch of them down the third straight. They had it wrong in the results on saturday but has since been corrected. Robby came back to kill it on Sunday with a double! Danny g...

Re: ABA Winter Nationals in Phoenix weather.....
I just checked and Accuweather is not showing rain for the weekend. I don't recall having a problem with rain at Phoenix in the last 5 years. Maybe I'm not remembering something. Maybe once I recall it being wet around the finish line from rain earlier in the week. Hey Brent b2! Please call me at 80...

BMX Timeline?
I've always wondered about this. Someone bust it out for me.
What time period would be considered "Old School"
Then "Mid school" and on to "New School"?

Re: The trade off of wearing white pants.
Story Time! In 07, Robby and I did the Kamloops, BC national. Robby looking good in practice and we were all set. Saturday morning first round 16 Cruiser, he comes out in second with a big drive and starts a run on Tori down the second straight. Hits the double on the second straight pull up manual ...

Re: Ford Fusion Hybrid - Anyone?
A prime example of "paid for itself" for you to consider! "The Gray Ghost in the Night" will I'm afraid, be unceremoniously laid to rest this spring after 18 years of proud service :( A little over 360,000 and still no excessive oil consumption and pass emissions with flying colo...

Re: Ford Fusion Hybrid - Anyone?
You going green on us Gallo??? I wonder how it will run over the 3 sisters with a load of bikes and kids. Seems like a lot of extra expense that will not pay for itself once it all gets sorted out. I don't know! To each his own.
Probably work out fine since you don't go racing anymore!

Hey, they've been running that same set of POTD since just after the GSLN. Several locals have a pic. Refresh the page to go through them.

Did anyone see that video David Bailey did a couple of years ago after Ernesto Fonsecca got hurt. It's very compelling. You can watch it at http://www.vitalmx.com/videos/features/2007-A-Message-From-David-Bailey,1180/A-Message-From-David-Bailey,196/GuyB,64. It's worth a watch selling the virtue of t...

Re: aba rig bryans funeral
FYI, It was WB Extreme who had a big hand in that and "Trucker Rich" Confer on personal time. It was really cool of the ABA to OK it. Certainly added a nice touch to an otherwise sad deal. And my humble friend Richard Stanley busted out the nice SE Ez-Up. We got some good people around her...
