Great information regarding traumatic head injuries.

I found a link to this on another site, but was impressed with the seriousness of the issue, and wanted to make sure that we are doing all that we can to keep each other playing bikes together for a long time.

There are links to a full article in velonews, and a traumatic brain injury flowchart to help evaluate whether you or someone you care about is ready to get back on the bike.

Take a few minutes and check this out. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to print out the flowchart and keep it handy at the track to help make sure we are not causing ourselves more damage by being tough and jumping back on our bikes way too soon after bouncing our brains around too much.

Disclaimer: AKA of "Snappy" has nothing to do with my ability to snap a gate. It has everything to do with the sound bones make when the break. Don't ask, it's a touchy subject.
