I actually raced on the track last summer for the first time in 9 years. The reasons of not racing were many but one of them was that the track was just too knarly at speed to be racing against others, risk vs reward thing. But last year I noticed that the track was indeed tamed down, it was just about right.
Let's keep moving in that direction, eh? There is no reason to put an obstacle every 15 ft and so deep you could lose a small child in it. Remember, build it for the 80% of the ridership not the 20% who want "bigger and bigger"......
