OGIO signs on as national sponsor of the American Bicycle Association

BLUFFDALE, Utah – OGIO, a world-renowned manufacture of quality bags, packs and golf
bags, is proud to announce its affiliation as a national sponsor of the American
Bicycle Association. ABA Marketing Director Shannon Gillette stated, "ABA is very
excited to be involved with an industry leader like OGIO. They're an awesome company
with action sports in mind. They make excellent products that will be a great fit
with the BMX racing community. We look forward to taking things to the next level
for the racers, ABA BMX, and the OGIO crew." OGIO’s Director of Sales, Luke Edgar
was enthusiastic in saying, "We're so stoked on our partnership and what the ABA is
doing we're trying to figure out were to put up our own course to add to our street
park and foam pit!

The OGIO debut came out in big way at the ABA World Championships held in Ontario,
California July 21st – 24th. One of the highlights of the weekend was the OGIO Pro
Time Trial, which pitted the fastest riders in the world against each other in an
individually timed format to determine who would get lane choice for the weekend,
$500.00 and an OGIO 9800 travel bag. The event was won by Staats/Red Bulls Mike Day.
Congratulations to Mike for an incredible weekend of racing.

With the overwhelming growth in the action sports community, there has been an
increasing demand for quality products that can withstand the harsh elements
incurred along with the abuse from the countless miles of travel. OGIO’s products
have already established an undeniable level of quality in motocross and golf so its
transition into the BMX racing world is a natural fit. OGIO’s BMX racing efforts
will be coordinated through rider/rep Steve Spencer. A 25-year veteran of the sport
and industry Steve says, “I am honored to be a part of OGIO’s involvement in BMX
racing efforts and plan to spread the word of the OGIO gospel”.

The Gilbert, Arizona based American Bicycle Association consists of over 50,000
racers and 283 tracks nationwide. The best racers in the country, and the world,
congregate to the 33 national events held around the country each year. OGIO
products will be available at all ABA national events and on the web store at
www.ababmx.com.
