JJ, Hannah, Anna, Josh, Bennett, and myself are truckin' down the road to Kearney. We have internet access in the car so I will try to post some race updates as we go. I know that Brandon, Jackie, and Jordan Smith as well as Pam, Mike, and Cody Kelly are going. I think Dan and Robbie are too. Should be a pretty small Utah crowd going to a pretty small national.

All I can say at this point is that this place is in the middle of nowhere!

More later. We are not racing tonight so I will post 'em as I get 'em!

Good luck to everybody & travel safe.

"We"? are you racing Curtis? Good luck to you if you are. Find "Grizz" from VBMX & say HI, he's cool as heck (David Griswald).

Keep us updated in the older classes & pro ranks too if you can.

Thanks,
Bruce

LOL. Me race? Surely you jest! Put a throttle or some gears on these bikes and I am in ;)

Actually, the only one that I know of racing tonight is Cody. Not sure how he did as we were eating Mexican food.

The track is in an areana that makes you realize how good we have it in Utah. The Equeastrian Cernter blows this little place away. The track is about the same length as Rad Indoor, but with bigger jumps and obstacles. The rhythm is not really much at all.

Bruce: I will look for Grizz. I just saw on vbmx that he finally said he was coming. What does he look like and who does he race for? I will be keeping a close eye on the older cruiser classes though. Brandon Smith is racing for BMX HEX this weekend and Melton is looking to kick some midwest bootay.

More tomorrow!

We are heading back from Kearney now. You gotta appreciate modern technology and being able to hit the internet on the road. It was another great day for Utah:

Josh Gee 9N - 2nd

Jordan Smith 14X - 1ST!!!

Jordan Smith 14C - Crashed - 6th (or so)

Bennett Newkirk 7/8 Open - 5th

Bennett Newkirk 7X - 3rd

Brandon Smith 31-35 C - 4th or 5th (I think)

Jason Melton 36+X - 3rd

Jason Melton 36-40C - 3rd

Robbie Patterson 14C - 2nd

Robbie Patterson 14X - 4th (I think)

Cody Kelly 11 Open - 6th (I think)

All from Utah rode great. It was an amazing race and everyone had fun.

I was really proud of Bennett. He worked out some of the national gremlins he had and finished awesome. Yestedays win had a crash right beside him on the first straight and he took the win. Todays race was clean and he and Lucas Howes (NAG 10) and Kenny Bogus (NAG 2) were bar to bar all race with Bennett taking a third. Very close race.

Jordan was also amazing this weekend. He really rode well and his win today was amazing and convincing.

Make room for some big trophies Utah. Were bringin' them home!

Oh - I forgot Mike Kelly took a 2nd. Also - we heard them announce a rider from Ogden, UT in an Inter class, but I am not sure who it was. I hope I have not missed anyone.
