Help me out here. What are the little guys (10 Inter & X) & gals (8 girls) running for gears at the indoor?

Thanks,

Lee

Last year I dropped my son (7X) a tooth for indoor, but this year I will likely keep him the same or drop 1/2 tooth max. My gearing will stay the same as outdoor.

Curtis,

What gear is your little guy running now? I think it's time to teach mine to spin????

Well, right now I am currently running a 41/15 wich is like a 56. But that is for the outdoor, I might drop to a 40 or something, but I have to try it out first to see what I think.

Lee,

He is usually running about a 55, it just depends on how he gets there. When he was running 1-1/8" tires he was running a 38/14. On the tracks he runs a 1" slick I take him to a 39/14. They work out to about the same.

He just got some cassette wheels for his birthday so I may start playing with variants using 13 & 15 tooth cogs. I think I may even take him up a tooth since the bugger dusted me on a sprint up a hill yesterday. Time to even the playing field ;)
