Bruce!
Great race report! It sounds like you had a fun weekend. Tough break on the 30+ race. You're always a good sport though! You make it fun for those racing, whether that includes you or not. Tell us more about the vintage show. You didn't tell much about the bikes you got to see. Did you show any bike...

Greg- Dumas rules! I had no idea you were such a reader! I gotta ask- how did you make it through Homer's Odessey? sp? I just watched the movie "Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou?" and called it good. (Ya'll know it was based on Homer's Odessey) How about books that enhance sport performance? "The Inner G...

Wonka!
Willy, and Encyclopedia brown are great. Trust me, those books are "big reads" compared to "The Alchemist". What is the Lure with John Grisham anyway? So many people love his writting. I've never read one. I'll have to try one. List of things to do this summer: Learn how to Sling shot out of the gat...

SO, DO BMX RACERS READ?
So what are you all reading?
My favorite read as of late is a fable called "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. I've read it in its native language of Portuguese as well as English!
How about you guys- what is your favorite book?
JS-nerd BMX racer!

Trippy!
As I was driving home from Moab today, I had the idea of a new rider page for this site. I was gonna write and suggest that you add one! I think Pictures of the sport- kinda approach it with at the lowest level of intruduction. That way when you get people to log onto the site for new information to...

Ok Jason- nice try, but thats not the picture! Maybe it was yesterday's pic. They changed the pic in the afternoon to this mag cover. I don't know what happened to it.
Other correction- Mike was the monster, I think Scully is on X-files or something!-LOL

15 seconds of fame- (almost)
So there I was, in class learning about critical pedagogy and antiracist education when my cell phone rings. It was Rob Passey! He left me a message saying I (or at least my cool specialized "Y" bike) was featured on the ababmx.com pic of the day. Rick Lowry, I believe, is the one eclipsing my grace...

Day job is BMX!
Wayne- welcome to utahbmx.
The site is indicative of the greatness of being a bmxer in utah!
I prefer people over computers- which is why I'm studying to be a teacher/coach. And for the record, the day I decided that, was the day I decided a life of poverty as well.
Peace
