Zion BMX

Many thanks to Zion BMX for a great State Qualifier weekend. The family and I spent most of Friday and Saturday morning visiting some of our favorite hikes in Zion Nat. Park and then experienced some great racing on Saturday night at Zion BMX in Virgin. The track was in great shape, very smooth, and loads of fun to ride. The location, just outside Zion Nat. Park, offers postcard-quality views in all directions. Thanks to all the staff and many, many volunteers who made this a great weekend.
I see this becoming a regular mini-vacation for my family. With the Park being so close and an abundance of VRBOs, hotels/motels, and campgrounds in the area, it is hard not to find a great place to stay and make an awesome BMX/hiking trip!
On the the way home we took the long way via the Zion tunnel, Mt. Camel, Duck Creek Village, and Brian Head. One of the best, most picturesque drives I have taken. Well worth the extra miles.
